Amherst Label has a long history of developing innovative labeling solutions for a variety of customers in markets from housewares to craft beer. In addition to digital and flexographic printing, we offer screen printing capabilities in-house.
For reproduction quality, our Domino digital is second to none. Four-color printing (CMYK) plus an extra orange and violet assure true full-color reproduction. Consistent from the beginning of the run to the end. Variable Data Printing (VDP) in black or color. Multiple versions of the same label in one run. Game-changing!
The in-line flexography printing and die-cutting process allows Amherst Label to create high-quality labels on a wide variety of materials, including paper, film, and foil surfaces. Cold foil printing, laminating, back side printing, and more.
The benefits of digital printing plus all the benefits of flexographic printing are combined in one process-controlled environment, opening up exciting possibilities. For example, to achieve a special effect, stock could be flo-coated or pretreated in the first station, then printed in the digital section, before applying cold foil on flexo station #1 and #2, and then a spot varnish on flexo station #3 on the way to precision die-cutting.
The refined craft of screen printing uses layers of durable ink to create clean and intricate designs. We offer a wide variety of materials and die-cutting to screen print high-end products including decals, control panels, and machine plates, specializing in subsurface printing on Lexan®.
