Large Tool Manufacturer
Challenge
This large manufacturer was seeing huge color and quality inconsistencies. Due to the large number of unique SKUs (400), they often found themselves with last minute needs, rushed orders and pricing inconsistencies.
Strategy
Flexo-Graphics, an Inovar company, created a single-price strategy to make ordering easy. Using digital technology and determining a more effective material, Inovar was able to more efficiently manage their SKUs. The team implemented a process to maintain a 2.0 Delta or less after varnish applied to ensure color consistency with regular quality checks was in place.
Results
Changing the material resulted in cost savings, and now the customer receives color corrected, consistent, high-quality products on each run.
