Meet the Team: Ronnie Marcelewski, HR Manager Willoughby, OH

Ronnie Marcelewski serves as the HR Manager at our Willoughby, OH facility, and plays a key role in supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture. Throughout his time with the company, he has enjoyed learning about the label manufacturing process and gaining a deeper appreciation for the many steps involved in producing a finished product.

What Ronnie enjoys most about working in the packaging and label industry is seeing how a label comes together from start to finish. From understanding plate making and shrink characteristics to watching products move through production and shipping, he finds the entire process fascinating.

One of the most memorable projects Ronnie has worked on recently was implementing harassment training programs across the company. He believes it is important to keep employees at the center of any new initiative and ensure programs are designed with their success and well-being in mind.

Ronnie describes Inovar’s culture as supportive and empowering. He appreciates that employees are encouraged to be themselves while creating opportunities to grow and shape their roles within the organization. His approach to problem-solving focuses on ensuring leadership teams are aligned and working toward common goals. When challenges arise, he believes in identifying the root cause quickly and finding a path forward together.

One aspect of his role that continually helps him grow is leading change. Since HR policies and programs are constantly evolving, Ronnie often finds himself helping teams understand and embrace new ideas. While gaining buy-in can be challenging, it has strengthened his communication and leadership skills.

Ronnie’s first jobs involved cutting lawns and snow blowing driveways. Those experiences taught him the value of hard work, communication, listening to customers, and understanding the importance of earning and managing money.

If he could switch jobs with anyone for a day, Ronnie would choose professional golfer Scottie Scheffler. Experiencing what it’s like to be the top-ranked golfer in the world would be a dream come true.

A fun fact about Ronnie is that he loves to cook and once dreamed of becoming an actor. Outside of work, he enjoys riding his e-bike, relaxing on his patio, and spending time on the golf course.

If he could have dinner with any historical figure, Ronnie would choose Frank Sinatra. He admires Sinatra’s unique personality, talent, and lasting impact on music and entertainment.
