Meet the Team: Steve Zisler – Vice President of Sales at Inovar Packaging Group

Steve Zisler is the Vice President of Sales at Inovar Packaging Group and has been a key part of the team for the past 3 years. Working across multiple locations, Steve has played a vital role in helping customers elevate their brands through innovative labeling and packaging solutions.

What excites Steve most about the packaging and label industry is the opportunity to help clients stand out in competitive markets. “I love seeing how our labels enhance a product’s presence on the shelf”. The fast-paced and evolving nature of the industry ensures there’s always something new to learn, keeping his role fresh and dynamic.

One of Steve’s most memorable projects was a hands-on experience at a client’s filling facility. “There was some confusion about the unwind direction of the shrink sleeves we were testing, so my team and I manually unwound the roll to correct the issue”. Despite the challenge, the team’s commitment paid off, and the test was a success—a moment that speaks to Inovar’s dedication to problem-solving and customer service.

Steve describes Inovar’s culture as one that rewards hard work, learning, and a positive, customer-first attitude. Outside of his professional role, Steve’s first job was running a summer lawn-mowing business in 6th grade. “I quickly learned that $15 wasn’t enough to cover mowing, edging, and blowing large yards”. This early entrepreneurial experience taught him the value of understanding pricing and hard work.

If given the chance to switch jobs for a day, Steve would love to be an astronaut. “It would be amazing to spend a day in the space station,” reflecting his love for exploration and new challenges.

A fun fact about Steve? He never forgets a face. “It might take me a while to remember names, but I’ll always recognize a face,” he says. On his days off, you can find him enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, golfing, or spending time with friends and family. If given the opportunity to have dinner with any historical figure, Steve would choose Albert Einstein, hoping to learn a thing or two from the great physicist.
