Meet the Team: Brian Baumgart – Tech Service Manager at Cimarron Label, an Inovar Company

Brian Baumgart is the Tech Service Manager at Cimarron Label, an Inovar Company, and has been with the company for nearly eight years, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the printing industry. Over the years, he has worked on countless unique applications and label designs, but what excites him most is finding the right solutions that help customers succeed.

One of Brian’s most memorable projects was the onboarding of a large ag-chem manufacturer, which he describes as both challenging and fun. He views every project as memorable in its own way, since each one presents new opportunities to problem-solve and collaborate.

When it comes to Inovar’s culture, Brian values the company’s strong commitment to its core values, which he says play an important role in how teams work together and deliver for customers. His approach to problem-solving centers on understanding exactly what the customer needs to be successful and then creating solutions tailored to those needs. A challenge that keeps him growing is starting the design process without always having all the information upfront, which pushes him to adapt and think creatively.

Brian’s very first job was a paper route, which taught him the importance of always being on time—something that’s stuck with him throughout his career. A fun fact about Brian is that he’s an identical twin; his brother Brad is 11 minutes older.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, and cruising around town in his 1969 Chevy Camaro. If given the chance to have dinner with a historical figure, he’d choose his dad, who he considers “historical to me,” just to hear the old stories again.

Brian sums himself up as “an open book” and welcomes anyone to ask him anything—a true reflection of his approachable and collaborative style at Inovar.
