Meet the Team: Ashley Stewart – Director of Marketing at Inovar Packaging Group

Ashley Stewart is the Director of Marketing at Inovar Packaging Group and has been with Inovar locations for an impressive 14 years. Starting her journey at Dion Label Printing and now working at Inovar Corporate, Ashley has contributed to the growth and evolution of the business in significant ways.

What excites Ashley most about the packaging and label industry is seeing emerging packaging trends and exploring new markets. “Labels and packaging are constantly evolving, which keeps my job exciting,” she shares. The ever-changing landscape keeps her on her toes and allows her to stay at the forefront of innovation.

One of Ashley’s most memorable projects was the recent rebranding and launch of eight new Inovar websites. “After months of hard work, our team was extremely proud of how they turned out,” she reflected. This project highlighted the importance of teamwork and creativity at Inovar.

Ashley describes Inovar’s culture as deeply customer-focused. The company is always striving to deliver innovative solutions that not only inform but also transform and perform. “There is rarely a new product we won’t entertain,” Ashley notes, and Inovar is frequently conducting research and development for their customers.

When it comes to problem-solving, Ashley embraces flexibility and positivity. “Roadblocks happen often in marketing, but I’ve learned to pivot quickly and encourage the team to persevere until we find the best solution.” Additionally, working with different personalities at Inovar has strengthened her communication skills, a challenge she’s come to appreciate over time.

Outside of work, Ashley’s first job was at Sears, where she worked in various departments. This experience taught her valuable lessons in customer service, adaptability, and teamwork.

If she could switch jobs with anyone for a day, Ashley would love to be a Broadway actress in a hit musical, just to experience the thrill of performing on a New York stage. And in a fun fact, Ashley is a huge Harry Potter fan, with a themed tattoo to show her love for the series.

On her days off, you can find Ashley enjoying a walk outside, reading, organizing, or spending time with her family, especially her son. If given the chance to have dinner with a historical figure, she’d choose Lucille Ball, a trailblazer in the film industry whom she admires for her impact as a woman in production.

Before wrapping up, Ashley wanted to give a special shoutout to her teammate, Daniele Smith, for being instrumental in the rebranding and website project. “Teamwork and collaboration are core values to me,” she says proudly.
