Meet the Team: Lane Jett – Vice President & General Manager at Inovar Packaging Group- Dallas, TX

Lane Jett has been an integral part of Inovar Packaging Group’s Dallas facility for nearly seven years. As Vice President & General Manager, Lane brings 28 years of experience in the packaging and label industry, consistently finding new opportunities to grow and improve. “I learn something new every day”, emphasizing the ever-evolving nature of the industry.

One of Lane’s most memorable achievements was leading the effort to secure the Glanbia business and overseeing its onboarding. This success underscores his strong leadership skills and customer-centric approach, both of which are essential to his role at Inovar.

Lane describes Inovar’s culture as a close-knit, “family environment” focused on continuous improvement. This supportive and collaborative atmosphere enables everyone to contribute to the company’s shared success. When it comes to problem-solving, Lane believes in teamwork and humility. “Get the right people in the room, stay calm, be humble, check your ego, and work the problem”. His approach to solving challenges is based on open communication and ensuring that all perspectives are considered.

Lane’s first job as a dishwasher taught him the importance of humility and responsibility—lessons that continue to shape his approach to leadership. Outside of work, Lane enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially outdoors. He and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 28 years, and their three children—Grace, Jack, and Sarah—are all excelling in school and sports.

A fun fact about Lane is that he participated in youth rodeos during the summer at his grandparents’ ranch, where he competed as a Heeler. “I won money every weekend and can still swing a rope”! On his days off, Lane enjoys outdoor activities with his family. If he could have dinner with any historical figure, it would be Abraham Lincoln, admiring Lincoln’s leadership and moral courage in abolishing slavery.
